Basic Pesto

Every now and again I throw in some basil, oil and toasted pine nuts into a blender and mix it up with some parmesan. It is a great addition to pasta dishes, and now that I make it myself, the thought of shop bought pesto is a real turn off. Right now, I am on a mission to eat food as fresh as I can make it. I figured homemade pesto was a good place to start!
